This knife is forged form 1084 and 15N20 in Complex Radial Pattern Damascus.   The blade is 5″ long and the handle is 4 5/8 ” long to give it an overall length of 9 5/8″ long.   The handle is of Mammoth Ivory.   The fittings are made of 250 layer Star Pattern Damascus and German Silver that has extensive filework in a Vine Pattern on it.   There is also an 18K Gold pin in the handle.

The 8 1/2″ blade is forged from a four bar composite, in Explosion Pattern Damascus.   The fittings are Explosion Pattern Damascus and German Silver.   The handle is of Mammoth Ivory.   The overall length is 13 1/2″ long.      Click on the picture to enlarge it.

Here is the largest knife I’ve built to date, with an overall length of 16 3/4″ long and a blade length
of 12″.   The blade and fittings are forged from Brush Fire Pattern Damascus.   The handle is of Desert Ironwood.

 This knife is a little hunter forged from a 3/4″ round piece of W1 steel that has been clay hardened, the handle is of Amber Dyed Sambar Stag, the fittings are of German Silver.

This is my first D-Guard Bowie, the 11″ blade is made of 720 layers of 1084 and 15N20 in Brush Fire Pattern Damascus. The handle is of Desert Ironwood. The fittings are of mild steel that has been salt blued to a black color, this is the first knife I’ve done to have salt blued fittings and this is also the longest blade I’ve done.    Click on the picture to enlarge it.

This is my second knife to have Damascus fittings.   The 6 3/4″ blade is made of 5,000 layers of 1084 and 15N20 in a “W” Feather Pattern, the guard and pommel are also made of “W” Feather Pattern Damascus.   The handle is made of Desert Ironwood.   This is my favorite blade/handle design.

The 5 1/4″ blade on this Fighting knife is made of 400 layers of 1084 and 15N20, in Ladder Pattern Damascus, the handle is of Curly Maple.   The guard and ferrule are made of mild steel that has been hot blued.   This knife is sold and is delivered with a Certificate of Authenticity and is a Kyle Royer Knife #37.

This Re-Curve Hunter was a custom order that started with my Hedge Hunter Design, the 7″ blade is made of 5160.   The handle is made of African Blackwood with German Silver fittings.   This knife is just like my personal carry knife except for the handle material.   The sheath is my first to be tooled and carved.  This knife was delivered with a Certificate of Authenticity and is a Kyle Royer Knife #34.

This knife and I entered the Cutting Competition at the Piney Woods Spring Hammer-In, 2008.  I won the chopping part of the competition, it cut through two water bottles, it cut through a one inch free hanging rope and a slip of paper.  Overall the knife performed exceptionally.  This is the first sheath that I’ve done to have inlay, the inlay is Shark Skin.

This Feather Hunter was a custom order, the 4 3/4 inch blade is made out of 2,000 layers of 1084 and 15N20 in  “W” Feather Pattern Damascus.   The handle is made of Exhibition Grade Desert Ironwood.   The guard and pins are made of German Silver.   The overall length is 9 7/8 inches.   This is the first knife that I’ve made out of this complex pattern of Damascus.

This was a custom ordered knife, a husbands anniversary gift to his wife.  The handle is made out of Desert Ironwood. The guard, frame and pins are made out of German Silver.   The blade is made out of 400 layers of 1084 and 15N20 in a Birds Eye Pattern Damascus.   It also has a necklace sheath that I made.   The blade is 2  1/8 ” long with a overall length of 4  1/8″ long.
